Bathtub to step-in shower conversions have never been easier and more affordable than with the CleanCut Step tub to step-in shower conversion kit. Simply cut a section out of your existing steel, cast iron or acrylic bathtub and custom fit the resulting opening with the CleanCut Step. Removes approx. 8″ from the top of your tub and has a 24″ wide opening!
Small: Fits tubs up to a 4″ top rail width and a maximum width of 4.75″ at the 9.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.
Medium: Fits tubs up to a 4.5″ top rail width and a maximum width of 5.75″ at the 9.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.
Large: Fits tubs up to a 6″ top rail width and a maximum width of 7.25″ at the 9.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.
*Tip on measuring the bottom width. Make a mark 9.75″ down on the inside of your tub where you plan to install the CleanCut Step at the widest point. Using a 2 foot level put the bottom of the level on the mark you made and hold the level vertically making sure it’s level. Using a measuring tape, measure from the edge of the level that’s facing the outside of your tub to the outside top rail. This will give you the bottom measurement.

Whether you have a steel, fiberglass or cast-iron bathtub it can be converted to a step-in shower. This allows our product to be installed for approximately 20% of the cost of a tub renovation, saving you money.
Need to stand on the step? No problem. All CleanCut products have a built-in anti-skid surface, not a sticker that may peel off over time.
Each CleanCut kit includes a cardboard cutting template, 2 tubes of industrial grade adhesive, nozzle guard, support box structure, written instruction guide and as always, free Canada-Wide shipping!

We installed one in dads bathroom and when mom saw how good it looked she changed her mind from a full on reno and we installed the step in her bath too. They both love them and feel much safer using the showers now that they don't have to step over. Their tubs were not standard straight walled so installation was a bit more challenging but still doable. Since the tubs weren't metal we used a jig saw to cut them, less dust and I found more control than the angle cutters. So, great product, great service - Thanks Jason for your help ensuring we were getting the right product.

We installed the Clean Cut step in a metal tub, the installation went well as the video tutorials are very good. The Crane tub we cut into had some different swirls on the outside that made it a little tricky cutting the template but if you have a little patience it will help. The step has some flexibility so that helps and the adhesive that comes with the unit is top notch. It really helps with the step into the tub.

Installed the cleancut step ourselves DIY method. Instructions were easy to follow. Had to cut a cast iron tub so that was a dirty job but step fit perfectly. Installing the cleancut step has allowed a 86 year old to stay in her home using her existing bathtub.
