CleanCut Deep Step DIY Bathtub Cutout Kit

Converts your existing tub to a step-in shower

Bathtub to step-in shower conversions have never been easier and more affordable than with the CleanCut Deep Step tub to step-in shower conversion kit. Simply cut a section out of your existing steel, cast iron or acrylic bathtub and custom fit the resulting opening with the CleanCut Deep Step. Removes approx. 10.5″ from the top of your tub and has a 24″ wide opening! Please note: the minimum inside depth of your tub must be at least 13″ for the CleanCut Deep Step to be installed.

Fits wider and slightly deeper tubs

Large: Fits tubs up to a 6″ top rail width and a maximum width of 7.25″ at the 11.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.
Extra-Large: Fits tubs up to a 8″ top rail width and a maximum width of 9″ at the 11.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.

*Tip on measuring the bottom width. Make a mark 11.75″ down on the inside of your tub where you plan to install the CleanCut Deep Step at the widest point. Using a 2 foot level put the bottom of the level on the mark you made and hold the level vertically making sure it’s level. Using a measuring tape, measure from the edge of the level that’s facing the outside of your tub to the outside top rail. This will give you the bottom measurement.

Product is great. Both my wife are handicapped. My wife had a double knee replacement and I had a hip replacement. This clean cut insert has changed our lives. We are both 80 years old and have mobility problems. The kit was great and easy to install. We love our new shower. Thank you so much.

husband loves it; I would have preferred the third model (closes it off when needed)
so be it.it is is definitely needed . needs more advertising in the interior of BC. ; plummers and construction companies most certainly need to know of it.

It is a very easy and efficient way to turn the bath tub into a walk in shower. Was a bit tricky to put in myself, but the end result was beyond expectations. Very, very happy with the product. Will refer you to my family and friends. Thanks for the product.

Product quality: 5 stars. Solid, easy to handle and cut.

    Complete kit: 4 stars.
Note: because of narrower walls of my bathtub, the bottom inserts could not be used. I followed your suggestion to fit wood filler instead, and glue the kit on it. Of course, it works well, but fiberglass fillers are unused left overs..

Information: 5 stars. Good videos. Good phone guidance. Good paper directions.

Because of the small space in my bathtub, I have installed the kit inside out, and as mush outside overhanging as possible. There is no incidence in stepping on it, it is solid. That allows the curtain to drop straight and close to the bathtub wall and leave more room for showering. The logo ended up to be inside, and I don't care as far as the overall installation suits us. By the way, I heating up the unit with a hot air gun, instead of a flame gun.

I do wish now that I would have gone with the CleanCut Ultra-Low instead of the Deep Step. I could have made it fit my tub,
