Bathtub to step-in shower conversions have never been easier and more affordable than with the CleanCut Step tub to step-in shower conversion kit. Simply cut a section out of your existing steel, cast iron or acrylic bathtub and custom fit the resulting opening with the CleanCut Step. Removes approx. 8″ from the top of your tub and has a 24″ wide opening!
Small: Fits tubs up to a 4″ top rail width and a maximum width of 4.75″ at the 9.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.
Medium: Fits tubs up to a 4.5″ top rail width and a maximum width of 5.75″ at the 9.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.
Large: Fits tubs up to a 6″ top rail width and a maximum width of 7.25″ at the 9.75″ point down on the inside of your tub.
*Tip on measuring the bottom width. Make a mark 9.75″ down on the inside of your tub where you plan to install the CleanCut Step at the widest point. Using a 2 foot level put the bottom of the level on the mark you made and hold the level vertically making sure it’s level. Using a measuring tape, measure from the edge of the level that’s facing the outside of your tub to the outside top rail. This will give you the bottom measurement.

Great instructions and instructional videos on the web site. The install was very simple and only took a few hours. The template worked well. Adhesive was easy to work with, but will skin over quickly so do not tool it much. The final product looks great and functions well.
